Wake up, League of Legends Wild Rift. Go to sleep, League of Legends Wild Rift.

League of Legends on PC never really captured my interests too long, maybe cause I lean more console when I’m home. Yet ever since the release of League of Legends Wild Rift on my phones, I have 2 old ones I play on, it's been my morning routine and night cap in bed. At night it really doesn’t help that the game gets me pumped and sometimes I play a little too long (2am). I’ve played other mobile MOBAs on phone, but this one is different. The UI is nice, the controls are solid, and the servers work.

My favorite thing is the front page of the app isn’t littered with random gunk for me to skip. I’m looking at you CoD Mobile. I feel like Riot games understands how people want to play mobile games. Get in, find your game, and play. This has been my main gripe with a lot of free-to-play mobile games. It’s nice to not be bombarded with in game ads.

Wild Rift is a great way for me to get introduced into the League of Legends universe. The more I play, I begin to notice why this game is so appealing. These are great characters. They look cool, sound cool, and some are funny. I’m a Blitzcrank fan right now.

This game got me at a good time. I bought a season pass and it’s committed me for the season. Also, right before I left my place, I downloaded League of Legends on my computer. This could be a thing.
